I’ve been a State Farm agent for 18 years, and before that I spent time in a corporate leadership role with State Farm — experience that shaped how I lead and support others today. What truly sets our agency apart is how customer-focused we are. We take pride in doing what’s right for people, providing excellent service, and building real relationships in the community.

Our team is small but mighty, with three full-time team members who work together in a friendly, supportive environment. I’m also very invested in helping my team succeed, not just professionally, but personally too — because when people feel supported, they do their best work.

Outside of the office, I’m a proud University of Akron graduate with a B.S. in Business, and I’ve earned both the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations through The American College. I spend my time outside of work with my family, training for cycling races, and staying involved through my church and a local Annapolis-area Christian school.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member with Jim Brown - State Farm Agent, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our insurance agency. Your proactive approach, sales aptitude, and commitment to building lasting relationships with clients will set you apart. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on identifying customer needs, delivering tailored insurance solutions, and consistently exceeding sales goals.

In this role, you’ll combine exceptional communication skills, a sales-driven mindset, and a passion for helping people. You’ll have the opportunity to develop professionally while contributing to the agency’s success. We are excited to meet driven, sales-focused candidates who are eager to grow within our agency. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate leads and actively pursue new business opportunities.
  • Educate clients about insurance products and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Foster strong client relationships through regular follow-ups and proactive communication.
  • Maintain accurate client records and manage policy updates efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
  • Goal-oriented and motivated by achieving measurable results.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
